Treat the family to a take away tomorrow night. The bank holiday Monday I'll be playing the dvd and take them all out for dinner. I'm determined that this will become a family tradition and the kids shall never forget, and hopefully take it on when there're older with families of their own. :D:scarf::scarf::scarf:

When we've won the Premier League a few more times on different days of the year, the 2 May won't be so important.

Nice to see a positive thread on here for a recent change!

I dont begrudge Forest fans over the age of 45 banging on about their triumps as I will unashamedly bang on about our title win in 40/50 years time if I'm still about.

True, though it was very convenient that our first was on a bank holiday Monday. It's almost as if the public holiday is for us.

i can probably remember about a day’s worth of my life from the sunday vs united to the next sunday after the trophy presentation. i have no idea what i did for a week.

Yeah, all I remember is going into work with a shit-eating grin while sat in the office with a spurs fan. They were disappointly humble so I couldn't launch straight into banging on about it.

but jesus it was literally 2 years ago. it’s only just over a year ago since we got knocked out the champions league. time flies when you’re not having fun, too, it seems.

I literally still have the scars from celebrating on Trophy Day. I wasn't even there. The day after was very, very painful.

Sometimes you still sit around and think did it actually happen. Just watched a few videos and got goosebumps. To this day I don't think I actually realise that we did it. Everyone just came together and it was absolutely incredible.

That period right up to the kasabian gig was fantastic. I was just wandering in a euphoric day dream, the excitement and happiness of the whole city was something special. It cost me a fortune however as I couldn't be bothered to work. I was either sat/stood somewhere watching clips of the celebrations, reading reports or wandering round the kp. Throughout that summer, even now at some points I would have to slope off away from the family somewhere (usually a pub in a sunny beer garden) and stick my earphones in and listen to podcasts with bocelli singing before kick off, and Morgan lifting the trophy whole looking at the photos I'd taken of friends and family and try and take it all in.

Just saw the video on facebook, the one with firestone playing in the background and it got me all nostalgic of May 2016 :( somehow we have to bring back a similar team spirit we had that season, I've never known such a united club as that one.
