it was so unexpected and so momentous, it still doesn't quite register that we actually DID do it.

Its just so not what you would expect from a club like Leicester, you almost cant picture yourself at that moment and how it felt.

It was amazing. If I could change one thing though it would be that we won it on a day when we played. Either by Shinji tucking in that chance at Old Trafford on the Sunday, or Spurs beating Chelsea and us winning it against Everton.

But, that is with the benefit of hindsight. I don't think my nerves would have coped if Spurs had hung on against Chelsea!

That period right up to the kasabian gig was fantastic. I was just wandering in a euphoric day dream, the excitement and happiness of the whole city was something special. It cost me a fortune however as I couldn't be bothered to work. I was either sat/stood somewhere watching clips of the celebrations, reading reports or wandering round the kp. Throughout that summer, even now at some points I would have to slope off away from the family somewhere (usually a pub in a sunny beer garden) and stick my earphones in and listen to podcasts with bocelli singing before kick off, and Morgan lifting the trophy whole looking at the photos I'd taken of friends and family and try and take it all in.

Is there actually any podcasts out that talk about that us that season specifically?

Yes, radio Leicester has a few over the time if you look back through your podcast app, also the official lcfc podcast has 'Bocelli serenades Leicester' plus 'Morgan lifts premier league trophy' also there's an hour long post match one with foxestalks very own Geoff Peters interviewing players as they parade the trophy around the pitch which includes a fine rendition of 'we are the champions' from the crowd. There is also a five live one hosted by chappers. If I remember I'll try and link them later if I can work out how to do it.

If anyone else has any please post links or point me in the right direction to listen.

I'd also like to find radio commentaries from the season including v Liverpool with the commentator excitedly shouting 'they're going to do it, they're going to do it' at the final whistle.

I'll also add that the Bocelli one is particularly brilliant with 32000 City fans reckoning their voices trying to sing along to Nessun Dorma.

I'm going to have to go and listen to it again now lol :scarf:

The 5 live one, Leicester; the impossible team is done with about 5 games remaining.

Leicester City: The impossible team.

There is one hosted fron the local hero the day after the Chelsea game but I can't find that one. Hopefully someone else can.

Not sure if it'll work.

Deleted as the link didn't work and left a legal notice from the BBC lol

I remember being at Old Trafford the day before singing "we're going to win the league". At Old Trafford. Unreal.

Working just 2 miles from Selhurst there are a few of their STH who have been grinning at me since the weekend, but i'm just throwing this back in their faces! It'll never be beaten, and we are so so lucky to have experienced it. I remember the tale of that poor guy in australia that lost his personal battle before we won ours, we are the lucky ones in spite of the recent turn in form. We are also top half of the premier league, so let's keep football in perspective.

Happy anniversary my friends

Yes me to, and finally having to be escorted out of a virtually empty ground by stewards because we would not leave and they wanted to start locking up!

My lad and I stayed in the KP after the Everton match long after most of the crowd had gone with just a few players and family still on the pitch taking photo's. We headed down from the Kop to the dugout area and hundreds of Italians came in, taking their chance when the doors were opened.

Eventually, Claudio came back out with the trophy for photo's with his compatriots triggering a stampede down to the front of the West Stand. The East Stand was by now shrouded in a misty post rain atmosphere. Magical.

The stewards had to move us out eventually.

Anyone else there ??

Yes. I was still in the East stand in that misty post rain atmosphere lol The Italians cane in fron the family stand before moving ring to the dug out. I really didn't want to leave that night, stood there watching  for ages trying to remember and feel every detail.

I went to 9 aways that season but never in the Leicester end.

Sitting on my hands and keeping my mouth shout, it was incredible to listen in on conversations and general comments from the home fans.

There was no bitterness, only big compliments, well before the run in.

People were proper classy - Sunderland being the best.

Brilliant for football , hope they do it , it would shove it right hard up the big boys if they held on, were some, and the general love of Claudio was unreal.

My bruv in law is a Chelsea STH and i was there that night at the bridge.

Obviously the dislike of them and Spurs goes without saying, and Claudio will always be in their hearts , especially because he stopped Spurs.

Was right behind Hazard as he curled that ball in - proper scenes throughout the ground - goose pimples every time i see it.

Whatever we do from here, we'll never beat it - nobody will.

And nobody can ever take that away from us.

As someone said earlier, special mentions to the fan that lived in Aus that didn't quite see us over the line.

Many of us lost many special friends and family through the journey of LCFC, but they were with us, all the way.

❤❤?

Genuine question, 10 years off your life but you could relive that few days again?

I bloody would.
