I think talk of player unrest rec is largely irrelevant

We do have some strong characters and that should be used to positive effect

They need to be managed motivated and utilised to their strengths.  We probably had one of the best squads in years. Fit tactics round limited players like Simpson and add to squad when possible

We are crying out for a positive dynamic man manager who has a grasp of tactics in the broadest sense

This ethic should also apply to Rudkin as well who is amateurish and incompetent

Surely the owners can / should see this

I've been a strong character in a few jobs. I've told the other employees the manager was a dick and had no idea what he was doing. Those managers tended to want me to do things I didn't want to do. All responsibility rested on my manager for failing to win me over. All he needed to do was agree that I was right and he was wrong.

All of this whilst you've performed on a high professional level for several years and/or shtumly worked your way up in your job for a while in the years in order to get where you are now, prior to you "speaking your mind".

You've also achieved the unthinkable with your working buddies once, exceeding expectations by a factor of 5'000.

You also are approaching 30 or are just past it and have made hundreds of thousands of pounds (or even millions) in the process.

You have also seen a handful of your favourite superiors getting the sack for rather dubious reasons.

Ok, so which of these two stories is further away from the truth?

No really, I'm talking about me. I'm a bastard to work with.
