Looks like Mourinho couldn't get his players up for it against Brighton to guarantee 2nd place so it's not that surprising our lot are aren't up for it in these already safe games.

Absolutely

We weren't up  for games when we were fighting for 7th.

We've arguably not been up for a games since the start of the year.

Good that they've made their intentions clear.

We can only back him as fans now. Let him have the summer, let him get his players in and then lets judge in October/November.

Totally agree

Even if you don't agree with something? Can't be positive in the way direction it's going in? Not allowed a different opinion?

I think the term is happy clapper.

I like loads of things Puel has done but the last few months results are a concern.

Whether he stays on or not should really depend on the key players. If our better players don't believe in Puel or his methods then he needs to go rightly or wrongly. At the very least the squad needs to respect and trust the manager is doing the right thing.

Where do players have the right,of lack of performance, due to lack of belief.Sorry these Tojos

Want to be PL players and earn top wack..Then earn it!!  without having attitude towards

tactics or New management ethos.I will say it again..if they all went to another Club,

they and their agents, would be selling the Fact the they can adapt,be flexable and up for change.

Sorry I dont buy Into this dissatisfied player malarky.if this angle of the story is actually true,

or just a way off target opinionating, and turning of facts, just to guess at what the problems are or light be.

Funny that top managers, who upset some Divas at top clubs, dont get this display of petulance,

and when they do ,that player are given their ticket , or sit it out on basic pay, until they see the calamity of their ways.

Maybe that was Ferguson's Problem in his 1st 5-7 AVG years. Then he went for the young guns,

and wrote history. If we want to compete at the top,we dont need this player power attitude,

it doesnt work!! For player,Club,or manager, it just leads to non-winning-mentality group of players,

who have AVG careers at lower levels. If the Fans want this Club to compete at the top, then dont

Fall Into the trap of "understanding their gripes",

Puel might be the right or wrong manager, but he could only use other peoples aging run abouts,

and untested youth and newbuys. You cant ever count a January window to make drastic or needy

Changes, into rebuilding change needs. We have a decent but not complete squad of potential.

Many Manutd Fans wanted Ferguson " out" in his 1st Years of tenure, his scottish ways Were not

good enough for their Idols and heroes who donned the red-shirt. He had some quality in his squad,

but he knew he had to oust some favourites, and dared to bring in his untried youth and mixed bunch

of experidnced players, who Were then forced to learn his ways, and come off their high horses.

Well our group at present do not even have that quality of ball use as some of the then red-divas

in those early Fergie years.

Fans on this forum are trying to deny the odds, with only the exception of out wonderous title season,

No Club has yet taken the PL by storm on player power,in fact 98% time it leads to Relegation.

4 managers..great promotions, great escape, discontent, TITLE, return to discontent and the worst set

and Period of turgid, inept performances in the last 8yrs of upturn, with title manager, title coach-manager,

This manager.   Only coincidence is the same bbone of players, with exceptions who have all stropped and strutted their own OTT expected ratings, with some or their agents  apparently, cringingly whining to

the press or on social media,of through this unknowledgable forum....

But wait on!!!  How many have really gone on Mardy stropps, The whole squad?, 15 players??,

10 players? 5..?? .Maybe just maybe 4,and the posters on this forum tries to make out there is

Total discontent running through the "whole group".. Player power is riding  on a negative  wing n a prayer,

gobbled up because, its a juicy Plattform that can be used as a weak forum proof of unrest,or

Snidey Journalismus and Barrack room debate.

Then we read consistently From within, nobody is bigger than the Club!!

So whether player discontent/power is a Fact or not isnt it then the actually players who are to blame,

they are so good, that a manager is irrelevant, they have proved what great PL players they are,

they can play to all styles and systems with so much flow of flexabilty, because they Carry the

Pl trademark.....well Knock me down, with a porn-stars boob, its this bunch of Divas, who

are not Proving they have a right, recently to be even tainted with the PL Mark, its their incompetence

in performance and football basics, not Puel who has failed miserably in these last 12 games.

They aint has good as they and our gullable hero worshipping fans make them out to be!!!

Puel is the convenience, but not the Problem..We have skilled, but weak mental and weak disciplined

group of players.  End-of!!  We need desperately an attacking play Maker, and an outfield bastard of

a bossy commanding Captain.

Absolutely piling us to go down if they're serious about this. Judging by this place, I don't need to have watched it to know how terrible it was. Hope he got some stick.

From what we’ve seen the owners value pride incredibly highly. Just got to hope that the embarrassment of that farcical lap of appreciation has caused them to reconsider their position on Fraud Puel. The guy really is an utter buffoon. Keep Choudhury and Diabete on the pitch, get Hughes Thomas and Barnes on too and there wouldn’t have been such an exodus from the fans before the end as at least we would be seeing younger players show some energy and endeavour. For all that he’s been lauded for bringing through younger players he had an absolute open goal with his second half substitutions and missed it completely. Utter tool.

Seen some worse sides over the decades than that out there today, but never seen one as disorganised. Puel is way out of his depth.

Happy ? Not particularly

Apologies for trying to keep positive

The statement was merely a rallying call for the final 3 games. The owners aren’t stupid and after today can clearly see he’s lost the fans.

He’ll be gone at the end of the season

Any reason he can't go now?
