Self respect won't give him a compensation package though. Managers rarely walk nowadays, probably for that reason.

Sad though isn’t it

money again coming before honest decency

Know what you mean bud but I have a common decency honesty and integrity about me that if I was on 100’000 a week and wasn’t going to be destitute leaving a job but was making a complete and utter shambles of it I would look myself in the mirror and leave whilst I still had some reasons to hold me head high

Will Puel?

Whose to say he will get another job? Probably will especially  if the circle jerk of british managers can.

Probably best to hold out in that regard not that i think thats honorable. Having said that if the players have quit on him instead kf earning a wage i dont blame him

Yep absolutely

if and i know it’s a big if but if the players have downed tools then this puts a different slant on things

thay said I just don’t think Puel is the right fit for Leicester anyway

we need a tough taskmaster next to sort this whole malaise out

a gritty no nonsense type manager, a Dyche sort of character maybe?

The players are a disgrace, some are claiming they're injured and just protecting themselves for the workd cup. That they've been let to get away with this is even worse.

The only players who arent fit who are World Cup likely are kasper and wilf.

Should he feel bad about walking away with a huge pay out for a failure, the players are getting plenty and some have hardly put an effort in. Plenty of occupations sadly where failures walk away with obscene pay outs

Boards only issue these to try to calm the circus. I assume they're issued so security can hand them out to journalists as they're grabbing the journalists by the scruff of the neck and gently kneeing them through the exit.

My thoughts exactly. We need someone who will build something that's more than the some of its parts. A TEAM.

There wasn't anything going on between any suits yesterday. Don't know who you saw but top and vichai weren't making any decisions.

The decision was made weeks ago, end of the season.

Do you think he will be gone at the end of the season?

Yes and one of those will most likely miss the world cup.

Clue....It's not kasper.

There’s no calming this circus.

Thought at the time the contact really didn't look anything that would cause an issue. But as you said in an earlier post they're being let off in doing this, our medical professionals we have would suspect as much you'd think, so if the club and players have packed up early for the season you can't blame the fans at all. All together though it's a mentality that shouldn't be in the club and can't be allowed to exist going forwards

The deduction being that kasper is fit enough to play but not willing to risk his World Cup on picking up an injury playing nothing games for us.  There have been these noises on here recently but posters thought it was puel droppimg  him due to a bust up.

Big shame for wilf if what what you say turns out to be correct.

Maybe if recruitment wasn't so bad then we wouldn't have the problem of paying off sh*t managers.

Any reason he can't go now?

More than likely he’s got some sort of clause in his contract that would cost us if he was to get the bullet during the season. He’ll be gone when the season ends

I saw stuff going on between ‘suits’ in corporate yesterday post match to know something is afoot. The players are desperate to make sure they are not implicated in this but they will have the finger firmly pointed at them by the media.

hope the new man realises that he needs to clear out some players.

He may feel he has to indulge some senior players to get the dressing room onside that most would rather see depart

Don’t think the ‘suits’ in corporate during a match day would be talking about any major decisions for the club mate.

Sullivan, Gold & the other West Ham mob trying to take their front row seats in the directors box but then being told their seats were taken by the women’s Thai football team was the only talking point!! ..........They were escorted to the back row  ??

Haha ****ing hell. We're an absolute shambles. I've blasted our fans a number of times but they deserve that toxic atmosphere they're getting at the minute. Shameful stuff.

I think the owners have approached Benitez and he's said no and they don't have anyone else in mind. Only Logical explanation as to why Puel is still around! Surely!

They were ‘gossiping’ in hushed tones about something (Im certain it was more notable than the embarrassing attempted entrance of the w ham directors into their usual seats - you get a feeling when you see something.)

anyway, the charade of our opposition directors/owners finding their way to row L rather than A was not particularly well organised as it meant the using a different entrance to the directors box than is usual - sir Trevor seemed to suss it quicker than the older gents !  Do you think it was a ‘classy’ thing to do @Albert, especially as ms Brady doesn’t generally attend away games and certainly wouldn’t come to the KP.

That may have been the case before Saturday's shambolic arms crossed performance on the sidelines. Why can't the man just play square pegs in square holes even if it means playing development players there. Silva is not a number 10 and Maguire is not a midfielder.

?EL OUT.

Break the bank to get Rafa Benitez

I think talk of player unrest rec is largely irrelevant

We do have some strong characters and that should be used to positive effect

They need to be managed motivated and utilised to their strengths.  We probably had one of the best squads in years. Fit tactics round limited players like Simpson and add to squad when possible

We are crying out for a positive dynamic man manager who has a grasp of tactics in the broadest sense

This ethic should also apply to Rudkin as well who is amateurish and incompetent

Surely the owners can / should see this

I suspect that the backing on Friday was in part placed to prevent Claude launching any kind of constructive dismissal claim on the basis that he hasn’t received any board support in the face of press reports linking other managers to his position.

its possible that he could get a bigger payout on the back of a claim such as this when placed against any contractually agreed pay off before next season begins.

The alternative is that he is staying but too many ITK’s on here have told us differently and some reputable journos are reporting he is fighting to keep his job.
