Well if Percy is right that he has he next three games to save his job then by definition I think it probably does having something to do with them. If they’re undecided on whether to keep him based on the season so far then there’s no reason why 3 otherwise inconsequential games which nobody gives a fvck about should count for anything.

It's their get out clause. a vote of confidence followed by the inevitable losses in the last few games lets them off the hook. Simply psychology.

Pretty obvious - otherwise Percy wouldn’t have been briefed as he clearly has.

I think they’re doing it to keep the players motivated to finish the season strongly, and to keep the fans turning up. He’ll be gone before the World Cup starts.

I’m sure more would turn up if he was gone now...

I don’t know, people might just accept he’s staying and get behind the team, can’t really seeing it happen though after Carroll scores in the 18th minute

It's not suddenly been dropped on him though has it?

Do you not understand the reasons that poor performances and results have led to him being in this situation?

I do however agree from the angle of it's got to this point, we're (the fans, a majority) questioning him, the owners have obviously discussed it for this 'backing' to be announced so if we're (Collectively) questioning things, 'giving' him 3 games, it doesn't bode well for the future and ultimately going to end one way, may aswell do it now, even if the 3 games are successful for him, chances are more questions will be asked again shortly.

I'd probably rather he was sacked than wasn't, just pointing out that if the next 3 games is make or break then I think that is a flawed strategy, the next 3 games will not be a particularly good indicator of whether or not he will be able to take us forward next year. I think that the players don't buy into him and I'm not sure he has the personality to impose a new style on a team, even with a few additions, but if the players manage to nick a couple of wins in the next three, or if they lose all three, I don't think that will tell us too much and certainly not enough to make the final call on.

Like the majority of true fans I am just praying for the return of Pearson

“True fans” = “Regression with blue tinted lenses on, so we like it” - Pearson was great but he’s not going to take us, or anyone, to where we want to go.

Selection is the issue, dragovic should be in instead of Morgan, the constant changing even when we play well isn’t great... it just seems no one really knows what to do to me. It is like England when they arrive at a World Cup! too many obvious tactical errors and poor selections... can you seriously feel that is going to improve next season?

Whats this load of tripe about constent change...Hes used his squad, but hes kept to his mainstay of players,

silly statement, that many keep chirping out. Just to force their own frustrating arguments on others.

Saying one Moment,he keeps to this or that player, then turn arounds and introduces slowly New and

young players in the Team...tell me which players should he consistently pick..you all argue weekly

one way for this or that player, then tell all and sundry, its crap selection idealogy.

Don’t really understand this. With the injuries and suspension we can hardly even muster a team, making the last 3 matches irrelevant und unrepresentative. Surely either get rid now or genuinely keep him on for next season.

I’m really unsure about how we are, and will move forward as a club. I hope the owners stick with Puel for next season.

I feel we have a dilemma with some players at the club.

Do the players not want to play for Puel so are only giving 60% of effort in games, as they know from past experience that a downturn in results will force his sacking as this group of players wield too much power and is a closed book with adapting to tactics and new approaches?

As once they cross the white line it’s up to them to do what they are being paid handsomely for and remain 110% professional and actually putting in the required effort to win games at this level of football.

Or does Puel have great ideas, but as of now not the required bunch of players to achieve yet, what he has a vision for?

Players like Morgan Okazaki Fuchs Simpson that cannot adapt to a new style so need moving on.

Players with little/no future at the club like Benaloune,Ulloa,James,Kasputska,Mendy moving on.

The football we played in the title win is finished,  and change is needed.

With a few quality additions that Puel may want in the summer, we have a nucleus of a decent side with Schmeichel, Maguire,Ndidi and Vardy the spine of the team.

Add to that youngsters in Chilwell/Grey and Diabate who hopefully we see the football from them next season that we have seen glimpses of on a more regular basis.

I hope he gets next season to try and get players in to suit the football he wants.....he must have said something right in his interview to get the job in the first place at least.

I don’t feel the future is as bad as some are making out, Rome wasn’t built in a day, given time hopefully the football and results will be better next season.

I just saw his press conference when he said he has the full support of the owners for what he doing at Leicester the question i have to ask what have you achieved of positive note, he talks about finishing the season strongly and finishing as high as we can, but it all a bit late and basically hes been saying the same thing for the last 18 games, he should have sorted it out when we lost to Crystal Palace at KP but if anything he made things worse and losing 5 0 last week pretty much tell you all you need to know. We should never have appointed him, the season went down the pan, do you really trust a man doesn't want to change his tactics after 4 wins in 18 games to turn the tide next season!!!
