I just saw his press conference when he said he has the full support of the owners for what he doing at Leicester the question i have to ask what have you achieved of positive note, he talks about finishing the season strongly and finishing as high as we can, but it all a bit late and basically hes been saying the same thing for the last 18 games, he should have sorted it out when we lost to Crystal Palace at KP but if anything he made things worse and losing 5 0 last week pretty much tell you all you need to know. We should never have appointed him, the season went down the pan, do you really trust a man doesn't want to change his tactics after 4 wins in 18 games to turn the tide next season!!!

Is it really that many? Seems like less. The win at Brighton was daylight robbery, as well.

It’s taken 6 days of negative sentiment for the owners to come up with the implied ‘vote of confidence ‘ which sums up what they think.

if he cannot stir up the players to pull there fingers out then he is out in the next month.

Hopefully the match against the hammers will at least be an improvement on recent performances but I am not optimistic.

Puel out

My dad will be happy, he has my ticket to every game as I won't go while Puel is in charge, I'm not giving up 2 or 3 hours to watch a game where Puel is in charge.

Deciding Puel's future on the next three games is a ridiculous strategy and if true, a sign of the misdirection of our club from the top.

In a nutshell.

Our luck will eventually run out. No doubt about it.

Whats this load of tripe about constent change...Hes used his squad, but hes kept to his mainstay of players,

silly statement, that many keep chirping out. Just to force their own frustrating arguments on others.

Saying one Moment,he keeps to this or that player, then turn arounds and introduces slowly New and

young players in the Team...tell me which players should he consistently pick..you all argue weekly

one way for this or that player, then tell all and sundry, its crap selection idealogy.

Let’s go on next season with 4 or so wins from 20 games, sorry if I see fault in that but many others do too

I’m really unsure about how we are, and will move forward as a club. I hope the owners stick with Puel for next season.

I feel we have a dilemma with some players at the club.

Do the players not want to play for Puel so are only giving 60% of effort in games, as they know from past experience that a downturn in results will force his sacking as this group of players wield too much power and is a closed book with adapting to tactics and new approaches?

As once they cross the white line it’s up to them to do what they are being paid handsomely for and remain 110% professional and actually putting in the required effort to win games at this level of football.

Or does Puel have great ideas, but as of now not the required bunch of players to achieve yet, what he has a vision for?

Players like Morgan Okazaki Fuchs Simpson that cannot adapt to a new style so need moving on.

Players with little/no future at the club like Benaloune,Ulloa,James,Kasputska,Mendy moving on.

The football we played in the title win is finished,  and change is needed.

With a few quality additions that Puel may want in the summer, we have a nucleus of a decent side with Schmeichel, Maguire,Ndidi and Vardy the spine of the team.

Add to that youngsters in Chilwell/Grey and Diabate who hopefully we see the football from them next season that we have seen glimpses of on a more regular basis.

I hope he gets next season to try and get players in to suit the football he wants.....he must have said something right in his interview to get the job in the first place at least.

I don’t feel the future is as bad as some are making out, Rome wasn’t built in a day, given time hopefully the football and results will be better next season.

Rome  ? feels more like Scunthorpe

If the owners really mean this verbal backing then I'm truly worried about next season. So they give him all the money to buy for next season and he attracts no one of substance and our best players have gone due to not wanting to work under him ( a real scenario given what we know about how the current player's rate him ) and we plummet down the league. He gets the sack and we become less attractive year by year to the point where the owners give us up as a bad job. I really can't understand how the owners can't see this clown will be the ruination of us, and yes Peter Taylor mark 2

This.

What I don’t understand is that all the ingredients are ‘in the mixing bowl’ ready for this very scenario to unfold, yet so many can’t see it, or refuse to see what is actually going on here.

He will have 35 matches approximately by then; more than enough to establish a pattern of incompetence

Given our injury crisis, I think the next three games are more about the players attitude and how they look to be coping with injecting some tempo into it.  If they continue to play with no intensity or care then he is gone by June

we don’t expect many points from the next three fixtures

Because Pereira is horrible

We need an attacking full back. Pereira is a good target. But I don't want anymore players slowing down the pace of our game. We already have Iborra and Silva for that. We need a midfielder who can play a penetrative pass quickly and drive forward with the ball and a new solid CB to replace Wes and Huth. Plus a fast paced and agile number 10 (in the mould of Shinji) to break up play.

I can't see Puel looking for that style of player. He'll want a tricky CB, a holding midfielder and a CF to hold up the play up top.

Looks like Mourinho couldn't get his players up for it against Brighton to guarantee 2nd place so it's not that surprising our lot are aren't up for it in these already safe games.

I've always been of the belief that with a full window and the permission to clear out atleast 8/10 players puel would be successful here.

I've also been of the belief that he should be sacked simply because he won't be given that opportunity.

Now that the board have publicly backed him with 3 games to go (which is different to the other public backings which have come with more games to go) then he should be given more control over what he wants.

For the first time in years we've actually been persuing positions we actually needed with centre backs and wing back being watched, for his first 8 games we really had a fluidity and freedom to play, if puel can get back go that style and step back from the recent pedestrian style I'll be happy to have him here.

Im torn on this. I don't want to keep changing managers. But we have to keep the right one.

He's had a bad run, however some of the most successful we've had have had runs like this. In the playoff season (deeney) we had a terrible run under Pearson, as well as up until march in the great escape season.

O'Neill had protests about him outside the ground. And had winless runs of about 10 games in one of the premier seasons.

We could still have our joint 2nd highest league possible in the premier.

Yeah - keep the right one. I wanted it to be Claude but I really don’t think he’s the right one to keep and give money and time.

Think we all just need to chill out. This season looks to be a write off but still be one of our best ever.

There's just no way you can employ someone with a mandate to change and then get upset when that change is difficult. I think the squad will be very different next season as I'm actually excited. Players have given up probably because they know they're not good enough to be here next season.

I don't get why people are saying that we can attract good players we're a great proposition for any player and I don't think Puel will hinder our chances of signing people. At least they know they'll get a chance whereas we've been a closed for to be signings fur the past couple of years.

I like loads of things Puel has done but the last few months results are a concern.

Whether he stays on or not should really depend on the key players. If our better players don't believe in Puel or his methods then he needs to go rightly or wrongly. At the very least the squad needs to respect and trust the manager is doing the right thing.
