Not seen anything on what the actual injury is?

Google search 'Mendy injury lcfc' for recent information, only shows this thread :D

I'm just seeing that both Mendy & Evans are doubtful for Man U

I don't know if Mendys injury will have that big an impact for the Man U game, we have plenty midfielders. Evans on the other hand, would be a big blow.

It's obviously a real shame for Mendy himself, if it wasn't for bad luck, he wouldn't have any.

Yup, optimistic me thinks had it been serious the papers would be all over it. Perhaps just a knock or something that will keep them out the team for a couple of weeks?

We can hope. There has been whispers regarding Gibson again. It does look like we desperately need more cover unless we're bargaining on very few injuries this season, if any.

Maybe we see one of the young ones playing? Scary prospect, but is it less scary than Benny & Wes?

I’d prefer to play Amartey at centre back over Benny all day long

Looks like Benalouane and Morgan will be the centre back against Man Utd then. God help us

It really brings it home that we need another CB before the season starts.

Of course, it's harsh. Injured early on into the season before last, out on the sidelines for too long, then a loan to Nice that was meant to bring him back to full fitness. Ends up with 14 league matches, 11 of them as a starter, but usually on the losing side. Now injured again after three pre-season matches.

Hope he recovers soon and fully, but boy, is the lad unlucky and fragile at the same time.

Feel it's one of those injuries, much like what Huth had, that you recover from but it just drags and drags for various reasons.

It may just be a case that his body isn't right for the more physical nature of the Prem, no disrespect meant to French football

Whats the nature of mendys injury.... he needs to step up and win a starting place thus year.  He has a chance to be a prem player if he will work at it... will he?  He will be along time tetired and he should take this chance and give it his best shot. .... or he can give up and play in the uncompetative french league.

If i coykd speak french I'd tell him this..hope puel does so
