I've been watching Glorious Goodwood Races this week and have been surprised how many Racehorses the owners have acquired and own. They have had quite a few running this week, with a variety of Trainers, Richard Hannon, Ralph Becket, Andrew Balding etc.etc and one of their horses Beat the Bank has won Group Races, although didn't win at Goodwood. Fortunately I haven't had a bet on any of them as I would have lost a fortune,as most of them seem to be average. Has anyone won money on any of them and let me know what good ones they have?

They are definitely spending big. for the big meetings such as Royal Ascot they bought mainly 2 year old horses that were already  entered in races just a couple of days beforewith chances. They paid good money too; £280k, £400k etc. but no winners! This looks likely to continue as they are spreading their horses among a number of trainers in the south.

The outlays are big the income from prize money quite small. It will take years to get a successful operation though; maybe through clever breeding and then selling on the offspring. That’s where the money is.

Spreading out their assess I've heard. Expensive. Very very expensive. Time consuming too. First it's the training ground, then it's stadium expansion. No time for a picnic, straight in to spreading out their assess. Tough job.

We've got the best owners - seriously.
