Your probably right to be fair, never really looked at it like that. I kind of just go with the flow, with the six of us in the group. We all put some money in the kitty and the rounds just seem to flow

At least you realise - I think some social drinkers have absolutely no idea how their behaviour affects others, and wouldn't be pleasant if challenged about it.

I just cant resist getting a few beers in at the weekend and as others have said i love a drink or two after work.

Rarely drink spirits due to the cost but i cant have just one glass of wine, i'll finish the bottle.

 In fact when i do buy wine i always buy two bottles and finish them.

 

Dont think i have a problem though...

So what's worse? Drinking every night in a controlled manner even if it's much more than the "guidelines" or binge drinking for the weekend.

Your liver needs a rest which I don't give it but I feel the effects of a heavy session for days.

I think approx three pints is classed as a binge if you look at the guidelines.
