Was thinking of offering to help remove the flowers and shirts ready for the game.who would be the best person to speak to regarding volunteering helping?

I was wondering about the logistics of this. Obviously it has to be done delicately and with dignity (which makes it a much bigger / longer job).

I guess Jim at lcfchelp would be the best bet?

I doubt they’ll have any member of public taking the flowers to where they’re going to be laid.

I think most of the shirts and scarves should be washed and sent out to poor countries around the world and distributed to the poorest and needy people. What a legacy of this tragedy that would be.

People (myself included) have written personal messages on a lot of the shirts, i get the sentiment but i think its more appropriate for them to be stored until they can be used as some form of proper memorial either in the ground extension or at the new training facilities

Fair point. But those with no message could still be sent abroad because they certainly can't use all of them on a memorial.

There’s no harm in asking mate! But I’m just making an educated guess that because the flowers are being laid at the crash site they’ll not let anyone near it. Especially if the investigation is still ongoing.

Thank you for getting back to regarding helping much appreciated.im sure it will be a hard day for who ever gets the grim job or removing the tributes to him.i wish them all luck and hope it goes well if that’s the right thing to say in these circumstances.
