Steven Posted 20 October 2005 Share Posted 20 October 2005 From the online Mockery. Sympathy for CraigCraig Levein, I have great sympathy for you as you were very badly let down by your players. The little kids playing at half-time showed more passing ability than that shower. Davieg, foxestalk.co.uk Source

Louise Posted 20 October 2005 Share Posted 20 October 2005 Easy life being a journo isn't it. Don't bother writing an article, just take quotes from forums.
davieG Posted 20 October 2005 Share Posted 20 October 2005 I'm surprised they print the comments of a 'seedy old man' Shame they didn't use the complete quote: Craig I have great sympathy for you tonight as you were very, very badly let down by your players tonight, hell the little kids playing at halftime showed more passing ability than that shower of shite. Anish Posted 20 October 2005 Share Posted 20 October 2005 Easy life being a journo isn't it. Don't bother writing an article, just take quotes from forums. Too right. Mr C should put some sort of copyright on this forum so that the joke of a newspaper that is the Mercury can't just steal our comments to fill their pages. The Leicester Mercury are a bunch of wankers if they think this is acceptable.

Mr C should put some sort of copyright on this forum so that the joke of a newspaper that is the Mercury can't just steal our comments to fill their pages. The Leicester Mercury are a bunch of wankers if they think this is acceptable. That's unfair. We quote from the Mercury with acknowledgement and they do the same from this site with acknowledgement. Is there much of a problem there ?
Scow Posted 20 October 2005 Share Posted 20 October 2005 We have no problem with the Mercury using the forum for quotes - it promotes the site and attracts potential new posters. As Steven said, we're always citing the Mercury for sources of information, so it works both ways.

Foxes_Trust Posted 21 October 2005 Share Posted 21 October 2005 It does make a journo's job an easy one though. Having said that - its better reading views from real fans off message boards, than them just collaring anybody in the street for their comments on the club (who have probably never been to a match)

If they haven't got anything to write (to fill their pages) they should at least ask fans/forum members for their permisssion to use quotes off here. What they have done was something that a 10 year old could have done. Copy and paste, and they pass that off as journalism. Pathetic in my opinion.
