siraaj_lcfc Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Good For Him. Hopefully He Can Provide Some Competition For Chilly When Fuchs Leaves At The End Of The Season. Why Am I Typing Like This Wtf?
weller54 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Good news for everyone.. He can get some experience etc. Hope the fans will support him and be respectful to their elders!
MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Ipswich have the worst defensive record in the league, hope he helps them set it right. After all, he's got a great league and winning experience with Wigan. Wish him and the Tractor Boys well, here's to a more successful second half of the season.

Assume you mean the Tractor Boys, unless he's moonlighting at Bolton as well?
coolhandfox Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Good move all around, hopefully another one of our academy players that we can look forward to watching develop. So now I have to watch, WBA, Celtic and Ipswich games, its getting hard work.

Develop? He is 23, at that age he should be around the first team squad if he was good enough. Seen him at Holmes Park this season and he isn’t up to Ben Chilwells level.

Whilst he may not make the first team here, with a good showing at Ipswich we maybe able to sell him.
foxes21 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Imo Elder performed well in pre season, arguably better than Chilwell. But it was only pre season. This is a good chance to prove himself worthy of being 2nd choice next season. I do like the look of Ughelumba though, who I assume will be Elders replacement in the u23s first 11. Maybe Ughelumba can leap frog Elder, he is built like a tank, his strength and power going forward makes him a real handful.
Tuna Posted 3 January 2019 Posted 3 January 2019 A bit more experience for him, but he'll be getting a relegation on his cv which is unfortunate.
