But as I said let's see where we are at the end of the season. You're right he has addressed some issues and must get credit for that but lets' not make out all is rosy. I thought that we were talking specifically about the centre mid position, not making general points about Puel, but since you put it out there, actually I think everything is rosy if only some of our fans would drop their agendas and just get back to supporting the team and get behind what we he is trying to do. The future is bright.

Why don't you just **** off and take your negativity elsewhere?. I hope you’ve been banned for abusive behaviour by the moderator. Or is that only non happy clappers such as myself that happens to?

Therein lies the problem. Puel shackles us with too many defensive players and a safety-first approach. It’s football to not lose first and it’s awful to watch. The only time it hasn’t been has been when we’ve been playing in a style he was brought in to ‘transition’ us from. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would want another season of this. would you class chillwell and ricardo as defensive or attacking players? would of thought attacking myself.

Of course I would. They’re defenders. They might be offensive defenders but they are still defenders when all is said and done. Their starting position in the formation is parallel to our centre halves so, yeah, they are defensive first and foremost.

Well, out of possession that might be the case, in possession they're more often in line with the midfield/advancing into winger positions.
southfox66 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 If you watched an average game we could probably take twice as many chances we do, instead of the side way and backward play. The build up is mostly so slow that they have plenty of time to get players back, in the whole its so predictable, hence the reason we have lost so many times this season at home, it isn't rocket science
