Hi vossen,

I disagree with your point on our fine country but I wouldn’t dream of disrespecting you in the same way DT did and I hope once the dust settles you do change. Hopefully you can find your peace with us deciding that we want our independence but to remain friends with our neighbors, even if it hits us in our pockets a wee bit. But I do hope you and other expats do not run in difficulty because of this decision and wish you all the best for prosperous lives in your new homes. Sometimes personal things get lost in political battles and viewpoints are deemed nasty and bitter but I would hate for expats to think of their homeland as a place of no return based on such things. It’s true when I voted leave, you were not a consideration at the time and it’s true you wouldn’t be if the ballot was held in the future but it doesn’t mean we dislike or hate you.
