What do people think about this. Call me suspicious but I think they must have known the original attackers or were involved in some way.

Car-jacking attempts or kids on mopeds robbing you are probably more common than you think. Two wealthy, well-known footballers will draw attention, I doubt they were driving a Vauxhall Astra so certain motors are going to stick out in the bad lands of North West London

Interesting to know what the 'further security concerns' were which prevent them from travelling to Newcastle. Wonder if their families or homes have been targeted so instead of going to the game and coming home to a smashed up burgled house, they're actually at home with families with police protection perhaps?

That's what I thought was odd. Teams have security with them most of the time anyway. 

 

'Further security concerns' is an odd statement.

Okay, now I feel bad about my comment.

 

That's a scary situation, as was the original incident.

One of the biggest sports clubs in the world owned by billionaire can't keep their players secure? 

 

To the extent they can't play? Just struck me as an excuse to play down the fact they're not in the squad tbqh.

With the money they make they can afford to have a staff of security at home and with them as they travel.  They shouldn't have to though so if that's the case i hope the cvnts are caught and dealt with.
