The whole world smiles Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Might as well be 5000/1 again not a chance we can get more points than city or Liverpool never mind both of them especially as Liverpool are already potentially 7 points ahead after today's game. If it was in the period when we did win it post Ferguson and pre (settled in) klop and guadiola. Then we would have a real shout again. Still on a more positive note what a season we are having would deffo fancy a bet on us for a champions League spot.

Klopp and Pep have spent about £1300,000,000 between them on purchase and wages ! we need to be realistic 2015/16 will probably never happen again for any team with our limited resources
shailen Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Stranger things have happened. Both city and liverpool (despite their 100% record in the league) do not look as consistent as they did last season but as a team we are not clinical enough to win the title. We create a lot in most games but do not take our chances, Chelsea away being the prime example imo. For us to realistically win the title we would need both of them to drop points throughout the season which I cannot see happening, and we need to take 6 points off both.
Deucalion Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 I don't think we have settled down yet and I think we will improve as the season goes on. It is a big ask to win the league but never say never!
Fox92 Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Every team besides Liverpool and Manchester City could be 300/1.
