Mark Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 If you could bring back one artist who you believe died before their time who would you choose, I'm listening to Jeff Buckley at the moment and he's the one who inspired this question. He was an amazing singer and in my opinion died way before his time.
Libertine Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 He was only 27 wasn't he? Wasn't his dad a famous singer too?
Mark Posted 28 October 2005 Author Posted 28 October 2005 He was 30. His dad was Tim Buckley, who also died young at 28.
Libertine Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 He was 30.His dad was Tim Buckley, who also died young at 28. Thanks. I first heard of Jeff Buckley some time last year I think, whilst watching a program called The 100 Biggest Icons or something similar. At the time I was like "Who?!", I'd never heard of him, but since I've heard him mentioned loads.
Libertine Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 There are loads of deceased greats that I'd love to have back... Kurt Cobain Jim Morrisson Jimi Hendrix Joe Strummer Freddie Mercury Elvis Sid Vicious Mark Bolan
Head Honcho Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 He was 30. His dad was Tim Buckley, who also died young at 28. Tim Buckley singing Song To The Siren and Buzzin' Fly. It doesn't get much better then that! Buddy Holly 22 when he died.Amazing when you think how many songs he recorded. Ian Curtis A tortured genius 23 when he died. Just imagine how good he could have become.
