They don't Suzie. They ignore messages and very rarely explain a reason for a ban. If they did people wouldn't be so annoyed. 

 

Having reflected I'd like to say I'm being unfair on most of the mods. Most of the mods are really nice guys who work hard to make the place better. Sadly they have no idea why people are banned or for how long and are unable to overturn the decisions. Bans are all down to Mark I believe.
