I've just made some roasted tofu cubes; tofu is tasteless but I've been soaking it overnight in a marinade of olive oil, lime juice, ground black pepper, soy sauce, and honey so it picks up the flavour from that.

 

Absolutely delicious.

Sounds good. What do you have with it? Salad with pasta or rice I suppose?

No, we had it with a tabbouleh made with black quinoa.

Curry lamb is done, wife just finishing off the roti's. Now to chop up a salad  and 515pm dinner time.

@Jattdogg Why do you call it curry lamb and not lamb curry? The only time I’ve ever ever heard people put meat before the curry is when it’s West Indian food and they use goat as the first word.

Well my wife is Trinidadian Indian. She calls it curry lamb.

 

Guyanese might say lamb curry. Depends on what type of indian you are and where in the Caribbean too and even your own family.

 

I am east indian and call it lamb curry or curry lamb cuz of the wife

 

Each family is different

Fwiw and IMO when it comes to curry meat in the Caribbean  Trini or Guyanese is wayyyy better than Jamaican. Sorry my Jamaican friends
