Agreed, and if this was a one off then fair enough.

 

But its been the same issues with all of those players fit. To try and gloss over it now because players aren't available just isnt a true reflection of the season.

People we’re quick to say “we were found out” in our old style, now I don’t wanna harp on solely (that’s exactly what I don’t want. The ironic thing is, we moved away from that style because they said we would "be found out", and now Tottenham, Man Utd, the new style Arsenal, and even Liverpool play that fast counter attacking style that we played in our title season.

What I find most unbelievable is even the games we win we score first and just cruise it.

We havnt won a single game since West Ham away, where we have scraped a win.

Basically if any team fights then we lose, we can’t win tight games because we can’t create in tight games, we only can score when games open up.

We also are terrible when it’s 0-0 and I’ve said that for months.

We havnt got the ability to open up space when we got down, we looked pathetic today after we conceded first and it’s been like that the whole season really.

We give so many easy goals away and then don’t have the unpredictability to come back. Teams know that they have to just sit deep and leave no space to Vardy and our passing is just wasting time and they wait to pick the first bad pass, kick it up to the forward who holds it up and wins free kicks.
Only vs Arsenal did we break a situation like that, and it took 10 men and bit more space.

BR has no idea how to win games unless we score first and then teams can’t sit deep so leave space for us.

Our last 5 games we won were all super comfortable, we have not won one tight game and that sums up we havnt got the grit we did.

The one thing BR must have learned yesterday is that you cannot play Evans/Bennett and Morgan together against teams that have pace and run at you.  An obvious and massive cock-up yesterday . He could have slipped Wilf in there and played Mendy or Hamza in midfield.  Giving Johnson a go might have also been a better option.  Let's see what he does next week.  If he plays same 3, then I will be very concerned as it so obviously not going to work.

 

Bennett should not be signed and Wes (despite his past contribution) should not be offered a playing contract.  A role in coaching in the Junior Teams - fair enough.

Agreed with this. To play our style, you need a big bugger up front in my opinion. Someone who is rugged and can play back to goal but also play a bit. And also get on the end of crosses.

After having some sleep, I will clarify I think Rodgers should be given a chance to make his system work.  So yes I support him been with us for the upcoming season.  I also sympathise with him that he hasnt really been supported in the transfer windows.
