I have been stuck on an assignment question for the past 2 hours and can't find any information relating to the difference, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Q: What is the difference between expert evidence for civil proceedings (joint expert) compared to criminal proceedings (respective parties witnesses).

Don’t quote me but I suspect the difference is based on the burden of proof. “Balance of probabilities” for civil and “beyond a reasonable doubt” for criminal.

Look up the Civil Procedure Rules (civil proceedings) and the rules regarding criminal proceedings in order to understand the fundamentals.

I did know, and probably still do at the back of my mind somewhere but I haven't looked at that for near on 10 years.
