Would you swap Messi for Vardy

What has happened in both their careers has been destiny. Without Barcelona there wouldn't have been Messi (thinking about the medical treatment they helped him access(, and likewise Leicester for Vards.

That last minute Vardy goal today is why we love him. Just a man that always delivers on the big stage. 

 

Messi is great but there is no doubt he's been spoilt with the team he plays in, and it's reflective in his performances for his country where he has really not hit the heights. Vardy would get 50 a season playing for Barca although he's not suited to their style.

Tbf I didn't know if OP meant swap a year ago, 5 years ago or now.

 

Vardy at his age still consistently scoring in the top flight is mental when you consider great players that have dropped off by that age. Vardy is only a year or two younger than Rooney.
