I've really started to explore and to enjoy this genre of music

I like a bit of Bossa Nova, but far from an expert. Huey Morgan recently did a 3 part Latin music series on the BBC. Really interesting and one episode was all about Brazilian music. It's worth a watch

There was a really interesting documentary on BBC4 a couple of years ago,

Not on the i-player though sadly.

Jonny Trunk re-released this a few years ago at Gilles Petersons request.

@Dr Marco. The Aqua de Marca has to be one of the most beautiful tracks ever written…. I think it was based on a found poem (I.e what he saw) after some floods in Brazil (waters of March)…. Anyway, there’s an interesting story behind it I remember reading…
