Milky Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 Nottingham forrest have just signed prolific striker nathon tyson from wycombe on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the january transfer window. this begs the question why didn't leicester make the move to try and solve the goalscoring problems? The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 I imagine he wanted to go there because we are fu cking boring and rarely create any chances. Hardly the ideal environment for a forward who wants to make a name for himself.. At Forest, he'll be their first choice up front, probably get a few chances a game and they have the potential eventually to climb the league and get in to the premiership. Much as we see them as our rivals etc, they are still a big club. Also, he probably didn't have the option to come here because we were probably never in the hunt for him. Realistically a move from Wycombe to Forest is a decent step up.

Bert Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 Link doesn't work for me either. What a sh-it move for the lad, he could've done a lot better than that and peeeps, how do we know whether we were in for him or not??
The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 When you take a player at random, it's very unlikely that we'd be after him. We can't sign everyone.

The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 I hope he scores a few and they get to the play off final, only to be denied promotion by a cruel penalty against the run of play in the 16th minute of added time.
