An interesting point (but strange imo) however, vichai, and top since his passing have both said their family are here forever, and I'm inclined to believe them, at least for Top's generation.

As someone who commands the respect of his peers, there's no equal.

 

But, and this is going to be unpopular, he is a very limited centre half. Fortunately though, what he is good at fitted seamlessly alongside Simpson, Fuchs and most importantly Robert Huth to create one hell of a defensive unit in front of Kasper.

 

At the end of the day though, he lifted the Premier League trophy so my opinion means squat!

JT slept with his team mates girlfriend (whilst married) and racially abused a national team colleagues brother. I wouldn’t have said a captain, leader or legend would do either of those
