End of Season Awards

I've always been baffled that they do these awards before the season's fully over. I mean Kelechi's goal was amazing but to exclude Tielemans' history maker because the vote was conducted before the end of the season just seams daft.

I thought the same tbh.

I do also think the 'trophies' look a little underwhelming, but I suppose anything ostentatious would look a little wanky or self congratulatory. I thought I knew where I stood initially but now I'm actually confused.

I know it's very much a first world problem, but getting the balance on end of season award trophies correct can't be easy, especially with our fan base

All very valid at the time votes were done. Had they been decided once the season ended, Youri's worldie last weekend would win, hands down. 

 

Thought Kel would win GOTS anyway but thought it'd be his Burnley goal.

 

Fofana well deserved for YPOTS. Stepped in at a time when injuries were rife and played as if he's a seasoned pro.

....those tombstones looked ok, and as you said, not so ostentatious, a lot more subtle!!!

Kasper was the last person to get a ridiculously massive trophy for POTY, he probably moaned about it and had it changed

The perfect award trophy lies somewhere in between pictures 2 and 4 I'd imagine. The one they gave Kasper is a bit over the top 

That said, Maguire looks like he's holding someone's ashes.

Is the club saving money on trophies?! They’re definitely getting worse.
