Spurs, Arsenal & Chelsea all have similar size support in and around london, west ham not even close.   Liverpool & man u are far and away the 2 biggest clubs in the land, but given theyre both the original clubs of choice for the armchair, glory hunting, bandwagon jumper and frankly, i wouldnt want their fans.  Mugs the lot of them.

I've always thought West Ham have a big fan base. Also in terms of away followings I think Spurs/Chelsea/West Ham are the best from London.

What good is history if you're mediocre now? Chelsea are making it whilst Arsenal are finishing mid table.

Arsenal are probably the third biggest club but how long can that last for when Chelsea are winning 5 more trophies than them each decade?

 

 

A rolling 25 year period of success is what constitutes a big club. Newcastle are a bigger club than us but another 10 years of us being in Europe with a ~45k attendance and hopefully a few more trophies, they can't seriously claim to be larger.

West ham have decent support, but not the sort of numbers Chelsea, Arsenal & Spurs.  Think their record gate was only 40 odd thousand, before stratford.
