Take the point, not many teams come to Owen Street and do that.

Would have been robbery if we won that.

Onto Alvechurch next, who beat Peterborough Sports tonight!!

Robbery, yes, but I would've taken it.

That was a good point against a very good side. Anyone that finishes above Banbury will win the league IMO.

Positives are we keep the unbeaten run going (15 games now I think) and we had our biggest crowd of the season. And Peterborough Sports lost.

Ultimately, I thought it was a great advert for Step 3 non-league football.

I agree, Very good advert for Step 3.  Wasn't too impressed with Billy Kee tonight, thought he was a yard off it!

To be fair, he normally looks like that.

If Timmy's half volley had gone in towards the end I think the roof would have come off the shed end lol

Yes

Number 9 I think

Some go for you and some go against you. They did have about 15,000 set pieces 2nd half so one was bound to drop at some point.

You're not wrong! I thought his goal 1st half was harshly ruled out for a foul. There's some interest in Timmy from a higher level. Luke Shaw too.

Let's hope we can keep them both for the rest of the season.

I heard that tonight too

£150k for Shaw I’ve heard

I'm not doubting it, but £150k is a lot of money at that level.

I think I'd be taking the money.

Apparently Timmy won't leave unless it's for a team two divisions higher. So from that assume it would need to be a full time outfit.

He’s a quality player isn’t he 😅

Would love to stick him in Leicesters side for a few games to see how someone of that standard fares/see the difference in standard

I would of thought he would be more than capable to play at that level. Would be a huge loss if he went.

We could give Jake Wakeling a go. It would be about the same jump.

Honestly, the pace he showed to chase down that ball for the pen was like Vardy from 2016. When he scored 4 against Rushden in the FA Cup this season he looked like a striker that could play many levels higher.

Fingers crossed we keep the squad together. Being realistic I think winning the league is probably beyond us. We don't have the budget or squad depth of the other two. Banbury brought on Henry Landers second half who's a fantastic forward player at this level. We've got a bunch of teenagers and Kian Taylor on the bench, no disrespect.

Play-offs would've been the aim at the start of the season and we're well on course.

Well if we keep getting gates of 600 we might be able to strengthen the squad a bit.

Agree on the play offs. Top spot will be very difficult.

When I first started going down we averaged around 220. Lockdown definitely helped raise interest levels. This season we're at around 400, which is near enough the league average.

Stevo likes to have a small squad to work with, but there is definitely room to add a couple if the funds were available.

Wherever we finish it's a great journey to be on. I've clocked up nearly 2.5k miles following them this season and loved every minute of it.

I've not been much. Probably only about 20 odd times. Think the lowest crowd was about 140.

Enjoyable though and hopefully I'll get down to a few more when they don't clash with the city games.

I'd say get down when you can as it's well worth it.

I started going while I had a season ticket at City and eventually I gave that up as I enjoyed going to Coalville more. I'm hopeful we'll better 647 at some point this season.

Tamworth at home? Think that was a big crowd last season.

Biggest crowd last season was Alfreton in the cup I think. And then Banbury at home when half of Accrington turned up to support Billy Kee.

First was absolutely fine, thats why I think the ref gave a very harsh pen about 30 seconds later.

Shawy and Timmy can play higher. Good job we have them on contract, it'll cost a club a fair bit to take either of them from us

That's what their manager is saying.

They can play higher and Joe too. And hopefully with Coalville. Jake Eggleton is also a solid and capable CB.

Lets hope so. Its good to see we have got a bit of fight and steel now. 2 seasons ago we would have lost that game and the Hednesford game.

Being able to grind out results when were not at our best will be key to keeping up challenging at the top.

If we can go to Alvechurch and beat them on the slopey pitch it'll be a great return from the last 4.
