Anyone who lives in Leicestershire and is free on Tuesday night please consider attending the Coalville game v Banbury.

Coalville are top, Banbury are 3rd and unbeaten. It's £10. It promises to be a cracker of a game and your support for a local non-league side that's playing out of their skins would be much appreciated. The team has a real chance of promotion to the National League this season.

I recognise this part of the forum isn't usually meant for anything other than LCFC, but given the awful job our local media does of highlighting local football I thought I would try and promote the game in this section of the forum.

Been meaning to attend a non league game for a while so I'm happy you've posted this.

That comment suggests they actually do a job of highlighting local football, which they don't.

Wish I could get up there I really do but it's an absolute impossibility on Public Transport from Wigston.

I wish Oadby Town were any good, I really do.

Oadby Town have merged with GNG this season. Seems like their glory years are behind them unfortunately. It's two buses and a 3 hour trip from Wigston!

Not even joking when I say, it will be more entertaining that watching LCFC right now. If I didn't live in the North West I would come down and support.

Can’t be worse than the shite served up at KP currently

In all seriousness, Coalville’s standard of football is actually pretty decent these days. One of our apprentices is a striker for them too

Is that Kyle Jardine?

I think Coalville town can do without some of the spoilt, entitled babies on here.

Unless they want booing off at half time and cries for the Managers head every time a couple of results go agsint them.

Yes

Kyle got about 20 minutes today and looked lively. He's a scored a couple of belter's this season in the cup competitions and looks a real prospect.

Needs more game time though instead of bringing on a CM and putting him up front instead of playing Kyle 🤪

I agree, but it's hard to argue when you have a team that's consistently playing well and winning. I had a chat with Kyle's Dad at Redditch and there's definitely some frustration there.

To be fair, Connor Smith was brought in as a striker and converted to CM. Good player.
