Lets hope so. Its good to see we have got a bit of fight and steel now. 2 seasons ago we would have lost that game and the Hednesford game.

Being able to grind out results when were not at our best will be key to keeping up challenging at the top.

If we can go to Alvechurch and beat them on the slopey pitch it'll be a great return from the last 4.

Yup. All of that's true. It's hard not to see us being involved in the play offs at least.

I'm looking forward to visiting Alvechurch.

What a refreshingly positive and upbeat thread this is. Restores my faith in the beautiful game.

Also looking at this fixture to take a load of the Bochum guys to who are over for the Liverpool game.

Haha we had 4 or 5 of them come to Sheffield away back when we were in the Northern Prem a few years back now, good lads.

Yeah was at that game with them. Good day out that was.

Highlights from last night.

For me, the ref was wrong on both disallowed goals and the pen. Banbury had about four good chances, and Coalville did well to get the point. The return fixture is only two and half weeks away.

Just to say, we are at home again on Sat against Nuneaton.

No City game......

With no City game tonight and us not playing on Saturday, people must be missing their Christmas footy fix. So, it's a great excuse to come and watch Coalville at home against Redditch on Saturday.

And still only a tenner.

Just a bump for people

It's £5 for today's game and I can guarantee anyone going it's an absolute bargain.

Get down there, it's a cracking little club.

Did they win today? What was the attendance?

If I'm reading the right result, they came from behind to win 2-1 against Hitchin today

Came from behind to win 2-1

It was a poor performance especially in the 1st half.

They seem to struggle in the 1st 45 at the minute.

Attendance approx 850, which kmo should be higher at £5 a ticket.

I thought 849 was still a decent turnout given the horrible conditions. We'll easily break a 1000 if we get that home semi-final play off.

We struggled first half. Didn't move the ball quick enough and got bogged down in central areas.

We threatened their goal more in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half than the previous 45, and Hitchin's goal was against the run of play.

I thought the lads responded superbly, and thanks to a Linekeresque finish from Timmy we ground out the win. Big game at Peterbrough Sports next week to cement that top 3 spot.

Time to bump this thread.

Coalville play Rushall in the play-off semi-final of the Southern Central Premier League this Tuesday. It's the biggest game in the clubs league history and should be a great occasion.

As usual it's only a tenner and will be better than watching Man City v Real Madrid on the TV. It would be great if we could get over a 1000 there.

Where abouts in the pyramid are Coalville? If they get promotion, how far away from the National league will they be?

If they get promoted they will be in the national North/South.

If we went up we would definitely be in the National North.

It would be a huge step up from the level we currently play at.

Despite being in Markfield, I don't know Coalville at all. How easy is it get to the ground for this?

Presume tickets at the gate too?

Plenty of street parking around the ground it’s easy to find and park.

you can pay on the gate but they are encouraging people to buy online before hand.

They're also asking people to try and avoid parking on Owen Street as there are cars parked on both sides and it's a nightmare getting in and out.

I park either on Ashby Road or around Chiswell Drive. It's a 5/10 minute walk from there.

I'm a season ticket holder at CTFC and its best £150 spent on football in a long while. Been a fantastic season for the Ravens and throughly enjoyed it.

Buzzing for Tuesday night just as much as Thursday.

We're black we're white, we're f****** dynamite!
