Many wing backs I suppose are by nature failed wingers or midfielders for want of a better word. However, compared with the James and Alexander or world class one's like Cafu etc, I think think Ricardo is, when fit, a top class right back who's devastating at time when running from deep. As a winger his ability to dribble is very limited and neither does he have a great burst of pace from a standing start. When he's been played in either roles of winger or wing back he's been fairly ineffectual, not really in the game and if you've watched him live, gets very frustrated.
coolhandfox Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 We have a few more players fit and BR rotates. The we have oh my god Wilf and Youri have been dropped!!! Its call using the squad so we have fresh players and reducing the risk of injury and burn out.
