Daka can't play the loan striker so I knew he would be a bag of air today.

 

Thomas looks scared and rushed in everything he does

 

Barnes and Maddison looked like they never expected to have to play today.

 

Mendy surprised me how sloppy he was.

 

Tielemens too deep and too disinterested.

 

Those are the lowlights but I don't have anything positive to say about any of them today.

Looking forward to seeing the results, loads of 3s, 4s & 5s I suspect. I always leave it until the next day to vote and in this case, the sad reality is that a game we should have win or at least drawn was thrown away carelessly in the final seconds. Those seconds should not be the yardstick by which manager, team and players are judged.

 

But...boy have I had it with Kasper! I may have mentioned that a few (dozen) times this season?!?

The  problem for me was we may have controlled the game especially in the 2nd half but we looked like we had no intention of trying to win it there's was none of the intensity that manager's go on and on about. We can be disappointed we didn't get draw but I hardly think there's any justification for being so for not winning. 

 

If you play for a draw you're always going to risk losing it.

Why play for a draw in the first place?  We're safe in the league with nothing to lose, and Newcastle certainly wasn't offering much threat in the last half-hour.
