Fair play to our away end today. It takes some doing to come from 2-0 down at the Emirates and still have the shittest away support in England.

First half was atrocious. Thought it was a bit better at 2-2.

edit: Our celebrations on MOTD for 2-2 look good for once though.

Thought the atmosphere at the Emerates yesterday was shocking. Their so called ultras were more of a joke. 15 odd kids jumping up and down like school kids at a crap party

They still celebrate when they beat us like they have just won the world cup.

For the Bournemouth game next week the King power crowd need to be rocking which i feel we can do

Only way it will be good is if the ref is awful, the weather is nice, cooper picks a good team, fans bring scarfs, we go 2-0 down and still win 3-2 and maybe the atmosphere will be good

Never really understand criticism of fans 'over celebrating'

Although maybe it's because we barely celebrate at all most of the time

Neither do i, fans bemoaning atmosphere and then criticising opposing fans for celebrating too much...odd.

So teenagers trying to create an atmosphere is now a no-no, as is celebrating your team bagging a late winner.

Miserable, miserable country.

I think thats a bit harsh.

If it wasn't for fans moaning they'd be even less noise coming from our fans.

This may be a biased comment but as much as I am for our lads in the section who try to do a good job, I did find their group dressed in black slightly odd. Not because of what they were trying to do, but more the actual lack of drum time.. seemed to only get going when allez allez started. (WHICH HAS BEEN POSTED IN OUR SONG TOPIC MANY A TIMES 😜 😜) but other than that they seemed a bit disinterested..

I think that’s full credit to sk1 lads for going majority of the game.

if I only had one critique about away days it would be for everyone to bring their voices that seem fine before in the concourses out to the stands. It seems to go quiet for long periods only for football in a library to get going..

I was on the right hand side and it was virtually dead for all 90 mins. The left looked slightly better.

Just on Arsenal’s atmosphere, it was still absolutely levels above anything we produce.

My lad had quite a bit of hassle yesterday trying to put a fire certificated flag up (which he did no problem home and away last season) at the women’s game v Arsenal.

He always puts it in the EMPTY family stand.

One steward said place low down on the seats only, eventually agreeing, after initially stopping him passing through altogether, then said he couldnt hang it on the railings as people could fall as he gazed over at 6000 empty seats in a stand that isn’t open on women’s match days.

Arsenal get knocked, I presume from people who haven't been, but it's decent now. Even when they come to our place their away fans are louder than they used to be.

I think the whole "Emirates is quiet" is just something that's carried on since they first moved there and it was quiet.

Emirates is not as bad as people think. I have always found Arsenal's support quite baffling though. They are the third biggest club in the country and their fan culture/songbook is no different from your average championship club. If you compare them to Man Utd and Liverpool they are world's apart.

Yes I can see why our support can be compared to theirs

Very true, it’s similar with Chelsea also. I think it’s a northern thing, fan culture is just much bigger up there, they are more loyal I’d say as well. Even United were singing still in the second half yesterday and their club is shocking right now. You’d never get that in London.

Compare Newcastles with Brightons and there’s my point. Although I know Newcastle are a far bigger club.

Partly agree, but I would say Chelsea and Spurs have a better fan culture than Arsenal. For the size of their club Arsenal's fan culture is atrocious.

And Highbury the Library before the emirates.

London though isn’t it. Always gonna be rammed full of corporate and tourists because of location. Same with test cricket in London v rest of the country. Oasis at Wembley v oasis at the other venues will be the same

Slightly disagree on the test cricket one, lords is different due to the old traditional rules of

the ground, like no fancy dress or instruments,

which is great so you dont have to listen to that tit with the trumpet all day

Wasn’t there today but was watching on a stream.

For once, we sounded louder than the away fans (although that’s probably because they’re Bournemouth and don’t bring many).

And also sounded like the new Allez Allez Famous Blue Army chant got a good airing at the end of the first half.

I know Bournemouth are a small club but honestly didn’t hear them once.
