Think the club have cut it off at the start of the game slightly earlier now to have a line of fans only, which is great. Probably should be 3 line but bay steps and I think overall it's been a good introduction.

 

I know not everyone likes this version but the worst of these reworks has to be the Blue Moon version Man City play before their games? Beyond awful.

It’s an anthem and anthems are best sung slowly. The quick terrace version is terrible-butchering the original in the process. The JB version is much better suited as a terrace song.

The JB version as a terrace song is probably the closest we'll get to having a Hibs-style Sunshine On Leith anthem. I'm not its biggest fan but you can't deny having 20k singing it is effective.

 

Not having "And Leicester And Leicester" at the end is also a black mark on it.

I love the fact that they now cut the final verse of the song out and bring on the memory recap video instead  but the fans carry on singing the verse. I think that sounds a lot better then it did before.

People fawn over that lot up the 46 singing some dodgy tune from when Paul McCartney had a fetish for bagpipes. We've got a far better anthem with WYS, let's stop worrying about versions and belt out Jersey's dirge... I'd take that over McCartney's dirge any day

It's genuinely a million times better than our old terrace version of it. 

 

When it first got released I used to push for it to be used before games. Even messaged Jim about it, his reply was that it was used before games. Yeah, about half an hour before kick off, cheers Jim. Best wishes.

Echo the sentiments about Budd's version. It's the right type of pace for a football song so for that reason it stays.

 

My only criticism is that they should play it after we win (if it ever happens) rather than Kungs.
