There were no outstandingly "good" songs. And Sweden winning shows how poor it all was. 

 

I like to watch it for the bizarre and outrageously ridiculousness of it. I used to find it really entertaining. Last night it was just a churn up of bland songs with largely stupid, meaningless lyrics being made to look good by excellent staging and lighting. 

 

The tech guys should be the ones getting the votes.

Amazing that you can you speak Finnish, Slovene and Czech to a high enough level that you can differentiate what is considered emotionally meaningful and meaningless in the context of the implicit cultural meaning of the languages. I really take my hat off to you.
