He would be a good DOF I agree but what ‘manager’ has ever turned into a ‘DOF’? Joe Kinnear? 
 

He’s also has a a manger job at Bristol City so he won’t be leaving that for a DOF job.

It's no coincidence , Once the Club allowed some Managers to take apart the structures he built, things started to go wrong.
