Pubs in West Brom are typically dour places but there's bound to be one or two open early.

Failing that, if you're going on the train there are several good pubs around Snow Hill Station (for the hawthorns)in Brum. Once again I'm unsure of the opening times & there's at least 3 Wetherspoons (open early) in Brum city centre, not sure if theres one in West Brom.

 

The Old Royal or The Old Contemtables are both a 5min walk from Snowhill Station and open from 10am.
