Enjoyed "73 Yards".

Will definitely require a re-watch for me.

I'd never seen Millie Gibson in anything before. She's excellent.

I enjoyed it while it was happening but if it was explained at the conclusion then I missed it.

She was fantastic in Coronation Street. Glad she got the role

That was a weird episode at the weekend but wasn't a conventional ending tbf

I have to admit I was quite smashed when I watched it the other night. I hadn't a clue what was happening lol

I'll definitely have to do a re-watch.

Very good episode yesterday.  Having watched Baker's Pyramids of Mars I half knew what to expect as the clues stacked up but it was still well put together.

Many unanswered questions though.  As the clues have been there littered throughout this series, will have to watch them all back at some point to catch the references I've missed.

73 yards is roughly 66 metres which is the distance between the cctv and the church.  Various theories around regarding this.  Could be another red herring like S Triad though.

Hopeful of a decent end to this season next week.  Without Disney money though there's no way the BBC could have done such a good job on the cgi which was great again yesterday.

I have really struggled to engage with this season. I'd had such high hopes for it as well. Ncuti has been quite good like I thought he would be, Gibson has been great too, but they've not been served well by RTD at all, and I realised what the issue the first half of Saturday's episode - the tone change. It felt very much like a CBBC/SG1 vibe which is such a shift for the show from what the audience had had before. I appreciate that he decided to pivot directly to appeal to younger viewers but that seems to have alienated a lot of older/longer term fans.

The twist at the end was really good however, and hopefully the tone of the show before was just to give people a false sense of security and that things will improve from now on.

Never really bothered with Big Finish before, I know they've been going for years giving the old  Doctors, including Eccleston I think and companions and villains a chance to do new stories.

Found this, updated effects for The Horror of Fang Rock.

And the glare from the blast of the Rutan mothership turned Leela's eyes blue.

That, and the fact that Louise Jameson had complained about the contact lenses she had to wear.

When I was a kid, I missed the final episode, so it was definitely one I got when it was released on disc.

I don't know how to feel about that finale

I just finished it.

Felt a bit Marvel'ish, but I was entertained.

Enjoyed this season and I'm looking forward to the Christmas special.

I really enjoyed the season finale.  The reveals at the end were a little bit "is that it?" but overall it was entertaining enough.

Season as a whole has been quite strong, the standout poor episodes being the musical episode and Bridgerton.  73 yards, Boom both excellent.

But who is Mrs Flood?  lol

Still remember, though barely, thinking when Tom first did Robot, that's not the Doctor, now he is THE Doctor, the genuine article you might say :D

Have all his filmed stories on Dvd, including the half finished one that was never shown at the time but was finished using animation.

Of Capaldi's run,  stories like Flatline, Oxygen, Mummy on the Orient Express, Listen, Under the lake/Before the flood, World enough and Time/The Doctor falls are some of my faves but Heaven Sent was the perfect first part of a story, let down by the second half but still superb, awesome piece of music too.

Have you listened to his Dr Who audio dramas?

Loads of new material - he’s still going strong at 90!!
