Let me assure you that no matter where I go on my travels, someone ALWAYS picks up a fuss about the the notable people and the notable former players list. My argument is always it’s called ‘Some Notable People’ not ‘All the notable people’ and I can’t literally name everyone, mainly because I am likely to visit the place again so need to leave myself someone to list at a later time.

thank you for letting me know about the mistake. I will change it now.

Firstly welcome, I never get the point of being frosty to non fans.

HOWEVER, if you know that the notable player element of your review causes fuss, why do it?

Genuine question other than that, it’s not my type of thing to read but good luck with your other ground hopping reviews.

ChatGPT would have done a much better job

I mean the first name on the list wasn’t born in Leicester, Ghandi never came to Leicester, plus Uni of Leicester was established in 1921.

Because the notable people segment is something that I find interesting and at the end of the day it’s my article

All this is teaching me is that a lot of people on here use ChatGPT. I, on the other hand, do not.

I thought the history bit seemed a bit copy and paste, which it’s difficult to not make it seem, plus the lists. However, I enjoyed your bit on the experience you had and the interview with a fan.

I appreciate that but on the other hand if I’m just stating facts in the history bit it’s difficult not to do that isn’t it? I did not copy and paste anything, and spent quite a lot of time on this article (as you can probably tell) so I find it quite insulting when someone I’ve never met makes comments like that

I know, it’s just made me realise how stupid we’re all gonna get when the kids are reading out of AI textbooks

The more worrying bit will be that the next generation AI models will be trained on a lot of content generated from current GenAI, which makes a huge amount of information up. Both our kids and the AI are going to learn on inbread content.

Okay well I thought my post was pretty reasonable. Like I said it’s difficult to not make it seem like a copy and paste piece. Good luck with the rest of your blogs.

Why do you assume I’m a kid? I’m in my late 20s 😂

Thanks. As you have probably read I am quite complimentary of Leicester fans so keep that up

Where is the statue of Gandhi in the city? Didn’t see it when we walked round

It’s not directly in the city centre, rather a mile out on the Golden Mile

I have realised my mistake and changed the aforementioned name to Mark Selby. Hope that people will understand I didn’t realise it would be taken the wrong way and I can only apologise

Mark Selby has been kidnapped?!?!!

😦
