Believe what you want! I couldn’t really care less and don’t really take offence to anything 😃 Not achieving anything by “making up stories” on an internet forum at 36 years of age am I lol

You tell me 😂😂

I just did lol

I suspect one of two things.

1. You’re full of 💩

2. You’re very gullible with what your mates tell you.

I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say it’s number 2. 😂

You can choose either mate, both are fine by me 😅

I applied through the ballot for my lad, never received an email to say whether I was successful or not so rang them the next day, the lady on the phone said it went down to 33/34, my lad snook in by one point.

Hi all,

I've been looking at Fox Membership for my lad (14) as there's no way we'll be likely to get a season ticket anytime soon (only on 6 home priority points :() is it worth getting is my first question? my second is, would it be better if I brought it for myself as well in regards to getting more opportunities to go to games with him or does just one person on a linked account need it? and final question is, do the memberships run season to season, so is it better to wait till end of this season now before purchasing?

Thanks in advance for everyone's advice on this.

Yes it is helps you collect points to secure a season ticket and get match tickets !

Unless I have misunderstood, then yes you will need to buy a membership for yourself as well. If your son has one he cannot buy a ticket because he is under 18. He will need you to buy one with him, and if you don't have a membership, you will struggle.

Generally, memberships are worth it if you go to a fair few games and particularly if you want a ST before the expansion

My lad was in a pretty much identical situation.  Turned out that he had been sent an email but it was in the Junk folder.  I think he just got in by a point or 2 and luckily got a seat just a couple of spots down from the rest of us.

Good job we chased it up. I’d not even received one in my junk. They just forgot to email me lol

At first I was told we had to have two seats together as he is under 16 so the chap on the phone tried to move me over to another block away from friends I’ve been going with for over 30 years. Hung up and rang back and the next chap let me have one a couple of seats away on the row behind me. Just shows it’s different depending on who you get.

Glad it turned out ok for you.  The two lads in between my wife and son have been happy to shuffle up so we will probably try to formalise that next season.

I know they get a lot of stick but I have found the ticket office to be very helpful.  On a couple of occasions we have brought my Mum who is in a wheelchair and they have been able to do swaps on the phone without any problems at all.

Yes I've never had any issue apart from m the lad who wouldn't let me buy a seat two away from my own.

Usually one of my mates can't make it so he sits next to me anyway.

Memberships are definitely a positive once you accrue enough points especially considering Next Season and the return to the Premier League.

The only downside I have is that this season, I brought a new Junior Membership for my 2nd Son who is 5 years old. We usually go as a 3 but including my youngest son, this is now grouped as a four. Although the original 3 of us have +35 points and can get Tickets as priority, we have to wait till General Release to be able to buy for the 4 of us. This means that you lose the better seats. Next season, it may mean not getting tickets for the big games full stop. The odd game where he can't go, I've spent the £3 - £6 on a ticket for him anyway so to bump his points up so he gets past +15 points (you get +10 for renewal) so gets better chance of buying. I appreciate the rules are the rules but there should be a bit of leeway for getting the youngest generation involved.

This is not intended as an attack on you at all but this is madness. How can our ticketing priority system incentivise people to buy tickets and not use them (ie less bums on seats)?! So stupid.

I've got my membership card through today. It didn't come with a message from a member of the team. Does that come separately? My step son was looking forward to seeing what they said.

Me and my lad got ours through last week.

Just the card attached to a blue A4 piece of paper listing a few membership 'benefits'

That's it.
