Reckon Mullins clears up today, no shock there. Gone for 4 of his across the day, just a shade over 16/1.

Same for everyone on it that day. Been gambling long enough now that nothing is a shock, but I don't think anything would ever compare to the moment that horse hit the deck when looking so clear. Unbelievable

Something going on with Hendersons horses definitely. 

 

Langer Dan is an interesting winner the cynic in me would say they have lost a lot in the past 6 months to keep him handicap down....

I was on Langer Dan actually, backed it last year as well. I’m sticking on Irish runners for the last 2 days though.

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if it something like that has gone on. He romped home there.

Is that 14 of the last 15 runners under 6/4 by Mullins gone in? It’s impressive but the fact they all win on the snaff and it’s so uncompetitive doesn’t do a lot for the sport.

I know nothing about horses but saw I had a free £5 bet offer with PP at 330pm.

 

Wasn't worth putting it on El fabiolo so took Cpt Guinness at 15/2.  I chickened out and put it E/W, so still returned £23.

Up a bit on the week thanks to Unexpected Party, backed it at 10 having come in from 15, though ended up losing some of that when I tried to repeat the trick with Bill Joyce

Historically bookie friendly days. Imagine we’ll see some bigger priced winners today, fields a lot bigger and races a lot more open. 
 

Even with El Fabiolo going down yesterday I still think it was a punters day. Two short priced favourites went in and the Skelton handicap winners will have been well backed too, along with the Mullins bumper horse.
