I feel like only Leicester could lose 1-0 to the team with the 2nd worst defence in the league who managed to create no decent chances or actual shots on target in the whole match

If this team could actually score goals we would be comfortably well up the table as we already have a good defence

Not to mention strengthening Spurs by selling them a much better keeper than they already have immediately before playing them!

Pre-match quote from Amandine Miquel re signings:

"Right now, we need people that care and that want to help. If we don't find that player in our minds, we will not be adding any players because I trust the quality we already have here for the second phase [of the season]."

That does not sound very good.

Nelly did really well today, Spurs were poor and Cayman and Goodwin really should have made more of their opportunities.

Thought Thibaud was solid, and was good to see O’Brien and Tierney working their way back.

From what I’ve heard, Rose, Rantala and Draper are some way off still, Petermann is a partial tear near the patella that keeps flaring up.

We’ve lost Kees in the warm up.

We absolutely need a no 9, it’s desperate, I’m still not convinced with Miquel, leaving Takarada on for 90 minutes up top is baffling.

I thought Gilly Flaherty made a good point (never thought I would type those words) when she suggested Leicester should look to sign a forward on loan who needs game time ahead of the Euros.

I've no idea who, if anyone, might fit the bill but potentially it's a way to get a better player than would otherwise be willing to join.

I said this when travelling back today, someone like Chloe Kelly would be aiming high but she’s out of favour and needs to secure her place.

Failing that we go in for someone like Rachel Williams who is barely getting game time at United but has bags of experience.

We were linked with Larisey but she’s gone to Palace.

I did think of Chloe Kelly when I wrote my previous post but left her name out of it as it seems far too much of a stretch, even in her current circumstances.  She wasn't in the Man City squad at all today.  The manager said she had a knock, but there are strong rumours of a permanent transfer in this window.  Even if that doesn't happen, they are short of attacking options and have lost their last two games so Gareth Taylor might finally realise he needs to be playing her.  I like the idea though, and if in some unfathomable twist of fate it did happen it would be the commercial boost the club needs.

Williams was a player I thought City should have gone for when they were first promoted - she was at Spurs at the time.  She's now 37 so would probably be a bench player wherever she was, and since she comes on in every game at United I think she'll be happy where she is.  Maybe a homecoming might have some appeal though.

Realistically it's more likely to be a Polish international I've never heard of who is stuck on the bench at Stuttgart.  Or something like that.

“Quite close” to a new back up keeper, possibility of more, then goes on to say there’s more options that she hasn’t tried up front (options she’d previously deemed worse than playing a defensive midfielder there).

Have to imagine she’s just deflecting because there’s no money/very little money to sign anybody of note, she’s proven a good manager elsewhere so she’ll know we haven’t got enough as it stands.

Olivia Clark from FC Twente apparently.

Don’t think we will see Pelgander in a city shirt again, academy players ahead of her, looked promising at first but has no pace at all and struggles on the transition.
Think we’ll take any bid in the summer that comes our way for her.

Shannon! finally playing with a forward of some description, so might actually have a slight goal threat. Assuming it's Mace and Tierney behind Momiki, then Goodwin and Cayman out wide.
