Some of the scorers of our first league goal of the season over the last twenty years are quite surprising.

There are some clues to each scorer below.

/05 - Best known for a spectacular volley in the 2003/04 season.

/06 - Top scorer for the Foxes in 2004/05. Played for Republic of Ireland at 2002 World Cup.

/07 - Popular Australian centre back. Later played for Leeds.

/08 - Best known for scoring a hat trick for Blackpool in the play off semi finals.

/09 - The first of 32 goals in all competitions this season for this striker.

/10 - Had a somewhat stop start career overall, also playing for Rangers and Derby amongst others.

/11 - Long serving, unassuming Foxes legend.

/12 - Defender who played just one season for Leicester. Effectively replaced by Ritchie De Laet.

/13 - Legendary powerful Foxes defender.

/14 - Versatile midfielder, who has recently retired.

/15 - An up and down striker probably best remembered for a vital late equaliser in the title run in.

/16 - Arguably our best ever player.

/17 - PFA players' player of the year in the title winning season.

/18 - Hardworking, though not hugely prolific striker.

/19 - The goat.

/20 - Long serving Nigerian midfielder.

/21 - Almost scored a classic own goal in the relegation season.

/22 - The goat again.

/23 - One of our best performers over this poor season. Also scored against Wolves.

/24 - Popular academy player who enjoyed a fine season.

Only one I can't remember is 10/11 from the clues.

The 14/15 one.. shouldn't it be late winner not equaliser?

It could be either depending on which game you're thinking of!
