Hmmm.. The problem with this type of conspiracy theory - just like the "Americans faked the moon landing" one, is that hundreds of people would by necessity need to be a part of - in this instance- criminal enterprise.

Someone would talk or be caught/killed if this was happening but frankly it's not.

Don't get me wrong, yes they are corrupt,

yes money obsessed and along with FIFA turning a beautiful sport into surprise free entertainment, but direct match fixing?

No.

Not so much a conspiracy or match fixing but if you think refs do or don't make decisions based on circumstance rather than what should be, then you're blind (not necessarily you personally by the way)

Clattenburg all but confirmed it the other week in the Milan v Liverpool game. Corruption of the highest order. One or 2 little fouls can directly impact the result of a match, the old butterfly effect.

For this that haven't seen what he said

“I think the first one is definitely a free-kick. I just think he needs to calm the crowd down; the crowd are against him.

“They have been putting pressure on him; we saw that with the penalty shout before that. I think the ref just needs to give one or two small fouls to get the judgement back.”

The subs were plain bizarre. Four subs from 88 onwards, and we turn a great point into a 4-2 loss! When I saw El Khanouss and Reid I thought that they weren't at all what we needed to see out a point.

I don't, in all honesty, think that they were a critical factor, in the event. But they were odd enough to raise questions where there might not have been too many questions asked.

And I do wonder whether the absence of changes on 75-80 minutes might have been more of a factor than the changes we did make. Buonnonote was flagging for several minutes before the change. Mavididi was working hard but struggling to impact. Vardy is 37. We could have changed the attacking three out (but not for BDCR or Bilal) quite easily to freshen up our outlets.

He should have changed like for like but Blooper tried to put square pegs in round holes and Fuched up what could of been an amazing turnaround draw, but unfortunately he thought he knew best also mind you the officials didn’t help much either two deliberate fouls on Vardy and Arseholeanal go straight up direct from the should have been fouls to score !

As for the one Gooneyfuch player who took out buonanote should have been sent off for a second yellow card but the ref dismisses it and books facundo for waving an imaginary card ffs, Blooper should have changed things around 75min but left it late as usual then cocks up completely leaving Trossard free at the back to score freely from an unlucky deflection if only someone tracked him stopped him from shooting into a crowd who knows ?

I know what you're saying.

But in fairness,  3 of the games where we've done much better in the 2nd half  (Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal) came directly after the half time interval ... and not just the players changing how they were playing mid half.

The point being, possibly what the manager and coaches said at half time was an important factor in the improvement?    dunno.    I'm not in the dressing room, so can't say, but I'm just trying to keep and open mind on the subject.

Whatever he says to improve them before they go out to play the second half, why hasn't it occurred to him to give the same talk before they go out to start the first half?

We scored two goals and got back in the game but I don’t think we played much better in the second half against Arsenal. We conceded 23 shot attempts (11 on target) and 11 corners in that half alone. And even when we get into games, Cooper’s subs can be baffling and ruin the effort put into keeping competitive.

How we start games definitely concerns me and makes me wonder if Cooper isn’t engaging with the team during the week.

Hermansen called it correctly after the game, that performance and that effort weren’t good enough, no matter who the opponent was.

Arsenal just done PSG 2-0 (going 2 up in the first half)... so, we are better than PSG? :)

The Gooners fans were very quiet on 90 mins against us at 2:2 but we're a lot more confident and relaxed against PSG and PSG were confident going into the game on an unbeaten run. We are a top European club 😎

Most corrupt league in the world. Can't have one team runaway with the league, thats bad for business. So we'll screw little old Leicester to keep it competitive. All about money.

You were saying? Mr Coote?
