The pricing for this and close proximity to the league game will obviously have a real impact on numbers. It's a shame in a way as ordinarily we probably would have taken a larger allocation there like other clubs have done.

I think it will effectively be boycotted - I think we'll do well to take 1,000.

I remember I think it was 1993 we took about 10,000 for a League Cup game - It's the famous Speedie Schmeichel (the other one not our legend) photo

I went on a coach with a load of hooligans I had no idea they were hooligans until they were scrapping all the way up there and then they were waiting outside the Stretford End for the yanited fans coming out who didn't want to know

Yes we did take roughly 10000. Got hammered but good day out. Schmeichel should have been sent off. They were expecting it as they started warming up Les Seeley to come on

Yes, he thought he could bully Speedie but he stood his ground

I think we could sell quite a lot when it goes to members etc. mainly a lot don’t get a chance to go to away games due to selling out before it gets to them. Also gets them a point at last. The pricing is awful and  United aren’t exactly known for putting out a full strength team in the cup. So many fans who get first dibs on this aren’t bothering. I think we will still take nearly 3000 away

what about members who won't be able to get tickets for the league game, but can for the cup game?

They should be equally disgusted about having the absolute piss taken out of them by some Yank billionaires.

I think you're spot on. This will sell out no problem at all in my opinion. Rightly or wrongly.

As bad as the pricing is, hope it leaves all the mutes at home

What a stupid brainless child like jumped up selfish comment that is. What’s it to do with you if people pay money and don’t sing. I will sing if I feel like it but would never dream of knocking someone who doesn’t. Just wonder how many games you have been too. Mind you probably get to more when your allowed out on school nights

Why are you so rattled hahaha. If you go to a game why would you not sing and back the team?

He's made a fair point without the need for the school night comment.

Everyone has different personalities, some people feel incredibly anxious at games, whether home or away, and being vocal might be the last thing they want to do.

But they still love football and their team and go home away.... and shouldn't be made to feel bad about singing.

Can promise you 80% of football fans wouldn't sing a note without coke and booze.....

This is pretty much the KPFC motto: Give us your money, sit down all game and clap your clapper.

If you ask the players and manager who they'd prefer to come and watch, can guarantee it's those who get behind the team vocally compared to people too 'anxious' to sing.

Going home and away and not singing is mind boggling, just watch the game at home.

Plenty can be sung on a match day without booze, I have a croaky throat most games. Not sure how being anxious comes into play? Got to do a bit of coke though, full fat is the way to go from the corner shop next to the chippy.. chilled too :celebrate:

I’ll get my coat lol

I’m not rattled just think the post was written by an adolescent sounding supporter

What gives you the right to tell people to stay at home. I know a couple parent and child. Child being over 40 now. Who have been going since child was young and don’t miss a game home or away. They don’t sing but are as big as fans as you or I if not bigger

Rather watch it at home and save themselves the trouble

Didn't see them at Spartak Moscow.

If everyone had their attitude, going to the football would be dull as dishwater.

You may as well watch at home if you're not going to sing? Get a better view, plus you get replays

I love a good atmosphere, I love that a great percentage of fans at away games create that atmosphere, sometimes I might get invovled, sometimes I might not.

Doesn't mean I have any less right to be there, it's an utterly ridiculous point of view lol

As someone said earlier, it's toxic masculinity dick measuring culture, and as i've said before it's heavily influenced by booze and whatever else people are filling themselves with.

Do you think I go around telling someone who has had 16 pints that they have no right to be there because they wouldn't be able to tell me what happened at the game if I asked them the next day?
