2 things. 1 at best it could be a deliberately flawed process to force a postal vote that most won’t be arsed with. Or 2, further proof that this lot are totally incompetent and have no idea what they are doing when it comes to anything but nodding along with the club.

The fu©️king irony TBH.

I'd go for 2! It's not as if they didn't know this vote was coming and speaking to people on the Whats app group (who know alot more about this sort of thing than me!)It wouldn't have been hard to make it secret and one one member.I was happy to give the current board the benefit of the doubt and i'm sure at least a couple of them mean well but after last night(Sat through the whole 2.5 hours) and today it really needs a shake up.

Members can vote online via clicking the link below and submitting their ballot.

The closing date for the ballot is noon on Friday 24 January 2025.

Not a secret ballot for starters and nothing stopping people who know the names of trust members writing them in for other people and voting either way.

The fvck haven't I received this email?

They have my email address - seeing as 'Interesting' Digby wrote to me.

Absolute joke.

I think your membership number is on the certificate they post out. I lost mine ages ago.

Despite having written to them - and commenting on my proxy vote email to Digby that I don't have one - I never received a certificate or a membership number.

So, having done my proxy email - do I do this new online vote or have I already done this?

Do it again but request a new link from them directly mate. I am not 10000% sure the link I put isn't specific to me, so to avoid risk of both our votes being discounted, email [email protected] . She may also be able to confirm your membership number at the same time.

If you could edit your post to remove the quote with the link in I would be grateful, but if you can't don't sweat it. My own fault for not looking before I leap I suppose.

Is there any merit in starting an entirely new supporter group that isn't impeded by the old fashioned reputation that the FT has?

FT aside, the more Fan groups around the better. Better transparency, engagement and accountability etc will only happen when more and more of the fan base are collectively represented. More strong, independent fan groups makes the club stronger whichever opinions each group holds.

Shouting on social media how UFS or FT don't represent your personal social bubble (not a dig at you but more generally) won't get your views shared - it actually accomplishes nothing other than talking down on fans willing to make their views known. Every fan should consciously think about Supporters Groups or Trusts which they can align with.

You need to do the new online vote

The email was sent directly from the membership system, if you haven’t yet received it let us know & we will check the database, as you recently received the previous email it would seem strange that you wouldn’t receive this one.

Can people vote using the link in someone else's email?

Not every board member checks their e-mails daily and with the match tonight, its possible no reply will arrive today, but there is another week before the voting closes, so we will come back to you in plenty of time for you to vote.

In any other member who posts on here have not received an e-mail, we have posted Vote of the Membership Underway – Foxes Trust

They should not do this, but contact us as above instead, as it may indicate an issue on their membership record with other communication from the Trust not being received, so we want to check the database record and resolve for all comms for the future.

The most common issue is unintentional unsubscribe options being clicked on previous e-mails, in which case we have to contact the member to confirm e-mails are still required to follow GDPR

Voted.

The spiel that accompanied it was..... Interesting

It's great to see fans starting to find their voice and play an active part in showing the club when we feel they are falling short.

With the change happening at the Foxes Trust, and the fresh involvement of those who are willing to hold the club to account, it would be a great time to see a further increase in membership.

For those who might not want to actively protest but still want to show the club that there is a good number of fans that are willing to challenge it and care about the best interests of the fan base, the Trust would represent a great option for you.

The reminder email sent out to vote in the ballot has your foxes trust membership number on it.

Useful if you, like me, had no idea what your membership number is. I have taken a note of mine.

While this email is a good communication to send out I do worry that folk will wonder if their initial vote hasn’t been registered? If you vote again Digby will VOID the vote as a duplicate.

I hope I’m wrong but it’s another flawed piece of this car crash of a vote.

If you placed a vote & the survey monkey software confirmed it on screen, then it has been recorded.

If you try to access again the Survey Monkey software will state a vote has already been placed.

We could not filter out members who had voted as the vote is recorded within survey monkey, the database would record the link to the survey had been accessed but not that the vote had been completed, hence the reminder being sent to all members.

it’s flawed unfortunately.

If you have the link and know the name of somebody in the trust you can just vote!

To test you’ll see below that Alan Digby has just voted FOR.

And with that the Trust can go fvck itself.

Feeble minded, petty fvckwits who value their incompetent self importance over the good of the organisation, perpetuating the stale situation whereby it achieves the square root of fvck all.

And the fanbase can go back itself too. Fvck all of you cvnts who can’t ever be arsed to do anything. You couldn’t even submit an online form - you hopeless cvnts. You deserve this Trust, you deserve KPFC. Fvck you all.
