I think you're overestimating the input "the owner" has.

The safety officer at LCFC is doing this to get the SGSA off his back. I don't disagree personally that the Trust's wording is quite assumptive at this point but to suggest they'll cancel the whole thing and risk having their safety licence withdrawn (meaning no fans in the ground at all) is ludicrous lol

Not sure why your talking about a safety certificate. They can't lose that for not putting safe standing in. Unless the clubs been warned numerous times about people standing.

Your last sentence is the winner.

They either get safe standing or people continue to stand in the normal sitting seats. Which will infact cause them to lose their safety certificate

This is moving very very quickly. Next FAB meet tonight.

Decision being made on safe standing quicker than expected? Did they actually listen to ideas at the consultation?

The club have ignored the requests to meet with Union FS and the Foxestrust to run through their proposal's.

That really doesn't surprise me, it's a massive shame because with something like this support and help from your supporter groups are massive really.

Even out of courtesy to the group who who has fought for it for well over a decade.

But more so to run over the ins and outs and work together on it.

They wouldn’t meet with us on the roll out of the section and look how that panned out.

That's true. Let's be honest club don't really care what the fans think and they'll decide how the safe standing goes and they'd pick their way even if a fans/supporters group idea was better and made more sense.

So what’s the point of having a ‘prototype appointments’ if they’ll already be there for 2 games?

And what do you do in these prototype sessions? Just stand there and look at them?

My understanding is that there are different types of safe standing there. So I guess the club will be looking to get feedback from these sessions as well as show it to those that maybe wouldn't be in the area where it will be used in the next couple of games.
