I don't think this is a right-wing or left-wing issue, with FT only representing a certain political leaning.  It is a common decency issue about having some standards and not descending into the gutter, which we as football fans find so easy to do. 

BTW years ago I went into a working men's club, full of hard-core working-class Labour supporters, it was full of homophobic, sexist racist bigots, racists come in all shapes and sizes.

Don't think you'll find Labour support in working mens clubs now.
