Close to two blocks, way less than normal. Maybe 1,500

How much of that is paying city fans tho. From early on you could see neat chunks of seats taken out. Ofc the odd single, pair or block of 3 are genuine buyers, but I’d wager we take about 500 paying fans to this

Definitely 200ish minimum were chunks of seats that were already gone.

Yes, the price sucks, but everyones circumstances are different. For me, being able to attend the odd midweek or weekend game means that I can spend more on those occassions because my overall outlay across the season is a lot less.

The encapsulated problem. For me. Individualistic. It's exactly how they've been able to get away with this nonsense pricing, because someone will always pay it.

There are plenty of people who, like you, can afford to go and can make the time, but they are rightly taking the high ground and refusing to pay a minimum £50 for a ticket to a fourth round FA Cup game on TV on a Friday night.

It absolutely stinks, and when they inevitably get rid of the £30 cap I hope there's plenty more collective disgust than there is "I'm alright Jack".

Not what I’ve said at all though is it. I’m aware there’s no arguing with some on this topic, but still wanted to say my peace.

I just don't get the logic.

3-4000 fans @ £30 a ticket earns more than 1340 fans @ £52

They'll be selling the spare 2k tickets to home fans for £52, and they'll probably sell.

Not so sure, I have a Man U mate who's seriously angry as they want £66 for home fans and he and his mates ain't going.

Maybe they'll get the tourists snapping em up!

There was a video and/or audio going around a couple of days ago of seriously angry fans confronting Radcliffe about wanting £66 off em for the game.

Extra 3k tourist home fans at £72 a ticket.  Almost like the people running a multi billion dollar business kinda know what they’re doing

And alienating every other home grown fan as they do it.

Fine, boycott and go to your non league sides or watch on tv... but don't judge others for choosing to attend.

I'm judging you and every other person there as is my right.

I won't hurt your feelings on here with the judgement but needless to say it's not great.

I'm not going, but I stand by the fact people shouldn't be judged for attending ANY game of football, we don't know everyones circumstances.

I'm not even linking it to money or income or whatever.... going to that game might be the one thing outside of someones mundane day to day that they're looking forward to doing.

Criticise and shout at the higher ups. Personally I think us taking 1000 when we could have taken 9000 is more than enough of an up yours to the boards of both teams! (they'll still have to staff an away end, segregate etc etc)

Shouting at your own fans is the easy way out, classism has always been the easy way out in football, there's opinions i'd like to share on the steretypical person who goes to a game, drinks 15 pints at a cost of nearly £100 before hand, moans about the cost of football but couldn't tell you the ****ing score come 6pm....

Also "hurt my feelings" is such a weird threat... you've just said it's your right to judge people... so surely it's my right to call you out on judging people? Or is that not how it works on your high horse?
